Physics is a subject that is fascinating to me because it deals with the most fundamental characteristics of the universe we live in. I like reading popular science books about it, but I find that there’s always something unsatisfactory about the metaphors used to describe Quantum Mechanics. They seem to make intuitive sense, but upon reflection, there’s always something that doesn’t fit.
I’m a firm believer of the idea that sufficiently complex dynamic systems can best be understood by the use of mathematics and so I particularly like ateixeira’s challenge to bring Quantum Mechanics to layman like me through Mathematics and embark on this project with enthusiasm.
